I once saw somewhere an early concept art of Kovu where he was Scar's son and looked a great deal like him. I also somewhere else a while back an artwork of scars son which made me think what if Scar had a son, and raised him to take back the throne? So this is him. I'm very proud of how this and the others came out. His name was chosen as an off version of his fathers original name, Taka.
Btw his scar is from a meeting he has with Simba who ends up scarring him.
